A Sodus man was placed under arrest after he allegedly threatened the use of a firearm against a child under the age of 17.
Lavern Leach is also accused of menacing the same child with a large tree limb during a domestic incident that occurred Sunday night in the village of Sodus. The 58-year-old was charged with menacing and endangering the welfare of a child.
Leach was sent to Wayne County Jail to await arraignment.
