A Shortsville woman was charged with felony aggravated DWI following an investigation into a one-car crash Tuesday night.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Jamie Cottrell had allegedly driven her car while intoxicated before losing control of it and striking a utility pole and shed on County Road 13 in Shortsville. A check of her license revealed Cottrell had a prior DWI conviction within the last decade, which made her latest charge a felony.
Cottrell was not injured in the accident and was released on appearance tickets for Manchester Town Court.
