Quick thinking by members of the Manchester Fire Department stopped a motorist from driving through Monday’s Memorial Day parade.
John Parmele is accused of driving his Toyota Camry east on West Main Street through individuals marching in the Monday morning parade. Witnessing this, firefighters marching in the parade stopped Parmele until police arrived.
The 49-year-old Shortsville man was charged with reckless endangerment and released on an appearance ticket.
