A traffic stop in Seneca Falls led to the arrest of a 31-year-old woman on drug-impaired driving charges, according to police.
Officers say they stopped a vehicle around 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday and determined the driver, Tarissa Mayo of Seneca Falls, was impaired by drugs after a roadside investigation.
Mayo was charged with driving while impaired by drugs and operating an uninspected motor vehicle. She was released with tickets and is scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
