Seneca Falls Woman Charged Under Leandra’s Law

SHARE NOW

A woman seen exhibiting odd behavior and driving erratically after leaving Seneca Falls High School was arrested under Leandra’s Law for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs with a child in the car.

42-year-old Rachael James, of Seneca Falls, was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated by drugs, and failure to keep right.

James was brought to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
