A woman from Seneca Falls was taken into custody on Monday after police said she was wanted on a bench warrant.
According to the Seneca Falls Police Department, 36-year-old Chelsea Ticer was arrested on September 29. During the arrest, officers say Ticer resisted and was additionally charged with resisting arrest and criminal obstruction of governmental administration, both misdemeanors.
She was processed at the police department and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
