A Seneca Falls woman was arrested Wednesday by the Seneca Falls Police Department on a warrant.
Brandy Elliott was observed allegedly taking merchandise from Walmart in Seneca Falls. She had collected a multitude of items from the store and passed all points of sale with no attempt to render payment. Elliott was previously banned from Walmart.
Elliott was charged with burglary, petit larceny and trepass. Following her arrest, Elliott was brought to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
