Police charged a Seneca Falls woman with felony criminal mischief following the investigation into a domestic dispute that occurred Sunday morning.
Carly Digrande is accused of damaging the victim’s property by pushing multiple items off a dresser, creating what police described as a “mess that caused substantial inconvenience.” After leaving the residence, Digrande allegedly caused further damage to the victim’s car by scratching the paint along its surface.
Digrande was charged with felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor criminal mischief, along with misdemeanor criminal tampering. Digrande was transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center to await arraignment.
An Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
