A domestic dispute in Seneca Falls Sunday night resulted in the arrest of a Seneca Falls woman.
According to Seneca Falls Police, Jemitha Soles repeatedly punched the victim in the head. It was also determined Soles had an active “Refrain-From” Order of Protection against her, prohibiting the 59-year-old from any such behavior. By engaging in such alleged conduct, Soles violated the terms of the Order.
Soles was charged with harassment and felony criminal contempt. She was brought to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
An additional Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
