Seneca Falls Woman Arrested for Misuse of Food Stamps

Seneca County Sheriff Timothy Thompson reports that investigators arrested 38-year-old Leslie Meacham of Seneca Falls for misuse of food stamps.

Authorities say that during 2025, Meacham, who was receiving public assistance benefits through Seneca County, allegedly allowed other individuals to use her benefits, which violates state Social Services law.

Meacham is scheduled to appear in Seneca County CAP Court to answer the charge.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
