A Seneca Falls woman was arrested Monday following the investigation into a domestic incident.
Erika Haig is accused of engaging in a verbal argument with another person before it became physical. Haig is accused of subjecting the victim to unwanted physical contact by hitting him several times and tearing his sweatshirt. Police say the conduct by Haig was apparently witnessed by children in the home.
The 30-year-old was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and a single count of harassment.
Haig was sent to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
