A local man was taken into custody Saturday after failing to appear in court.
The Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Verdell Cunningham on July 26 on a bench warrant issued by the Town of Seneca Falls Court.
Cunningham was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he is being held pending arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
