The Seneca County Sheriff’s office reports that on 8/5/2023 at approximately 3:30AM, Deputies responded to the area of Durling Road in the T/Tyre for the report of property damage accident. Upon arrival, Deputies observed tire tracks going into a corn field but could not locate a vehicle. While Deputies were on scene, a truck operated by Nicolas J Blevins age 40 of 3047 E Bayard Seneca Falls exited the field and slammed into a ditch. Blevins was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Seneca County correctional facility to await CAP court at 8AM. Blevins was charged with Felony DWI, Open Container in a Motor Vehicle, Failure to Maintain Lane and Speed not Reasonable and Prudent. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by NYS Police, North Seneca Ambulance and Clyde Fire Department.
