A Seneca Falls man is facing drunk driving charges following a traffic stop over the weekend.
According to the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department, 66-year-old Paul Carissimi was arrested on Saturday and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI for having a blood alcohol content of 0.18% or higher.
Carissimi was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
