A Seneca Falls man was arrested following a reported domestic disturbance at a local residence on Friday
According to the Seneca Falls Police Department, 22-year-old Joseph Donson was taken into custody after an argument with his girlfriend allegedly escalated into physical contact.
Police say Donson was charged with disorderly conduct. Because a Class B Order of Protection was already in place to protect the victim, he was also charged with second-degree criminal contempt for violating that order.
Donson was transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center, where he awaited arraignment in CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
