A Seneca Falls man was arrested by Seneca Falls Police on a harassment charge.
The arrest of 64-year-old Jose Torres stems from a domestic dispute that happened on Wednesday where he allegedly engaged in unwanted physical contact with a woman. Torres allegedly slapped the woman across her face, causing pain and discoloration.
Torres was brought to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment in CAP Court.
An Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
