A Seneca Falls man was arrested on Monday by Seneca Falls Police following the investigation into a reported domestic incident.
Richard Wollek is accused of throwing a chair at the victim, slapping them in the face multiple times, and placing his hands on the neck of the victim. During the dispute, there was an Active Order of Protection in effect between Wollek and the victim, protecting the victim. Due to Wollek’s physical contact with the victim, he allegedly violated the Order of Protection.
Wollek was charged with felony criminal contempt.
Wollek was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await CAP court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
