A Seneca Falls man has been charged with felony falsifying business records following an incident at the local Walmart.
John Walters was allegedly spotted taking merchandise off the shelf and passing all points of sale without rendering payment. The 46-year-old is then accused of going to the Customer Service desk and returning the items for store credit.
In addition to the felony, Walters was charged with misdemeanor petit larceny.
Walters was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
