A Seneca Falls man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop by Seneca Falls Police on State Route 5.
Jeffrey Rogers was stopped after the vehicle he was driving was stopped for speeding. During the traffic stop, police say it was determined Rogers was driving his car while intoxicated.
Rogers was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with .08 of 1% or more of alcohol, a felony, driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation, operating a motor vehicle without a court-ordered interlock device, and speeding.
Officers tell us Rogers was processed and released on an appearance ticket scheduling him to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
