A Seneca Falls man was arrested Monday on a warrant issued after an alleged incident at the Walmart Supercenter.
44-year-old Thomas Steele, Junior is accused of selecting merchandise held for sale and passed all points of fail, failing to render payment. Steele was also accused of acting with another individual to perpetrate the crime.
Steele was charged with petit larceny and conspiracy.
Steele was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
