A 25-year-old Seneca Falls man was arrested Monday on a bench warrant.
Dejon Butler was previously arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance. Butler allegedly failed to appear in court and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest. Butler was located and taken into custody without incident.
Butler was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
