An investigation into a domestic disturbance in the town of Seneca Falls Monday morning resulted in the arrest of a Seneca Falls man.
According to Seneca Falls Police, it was discovered that Kaseem Hoover had allegedly menaced the victim with a knife and then strangled the victim. Officers say the victim did lose consciousness during the struggle and was taken to the hospital for medical attention.
Hoover was charged with strangulation, menacing, unlawful imprisonment, criminal possession of a weapon, and harassment.
An Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
