SHARE NOW

On Monday, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Daniel Closson, 39, of Seneca Falls, following an investigation into a domestic dispute.

Closson is accused of making physical contact with another individual during the incident. Additionally, police say he attempted to prevent the victim from contacting emergency services for help.

Following the investigation, Closson was charged with second-degree Aggravated Harassment and third-degree Menacing, both of which are class A misdemeanors. He was also charged with Attempted Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree, a class B misdemeanor.

An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
