The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of 38-year-old Brendan Wheaton of Seneca Falls following a domestic incident early Friday morning.
Police say the investigation revealed that Wheaton subjected the victim to unwanted physical contact and prevented the victim from leaving the residence. The incident occurred in the presence of a child.
Wheaton was charged with unlawful imprisonment in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors, and harassment in the second degree, a violation. He was processed and transported to the Seneca County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
