A Seneca Falls man was charged with obstruction of governmental administration after being involved in a traffic stop with Seneca Falls Police.
During the course of the roadside investigation, Edward Carter allegedly failed to obey a lawful order to exit his vehicle and fled from officers. Officers followed Carter, who is accused of engaging in reckless driving and committing multiple traffic violations.
The 28-year-old was also charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer. Carter was released on appearance and UTTs that will be answered in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
