A Seneca Falls man was arrested Saturday night after he allegedly led police on a chase that reached speeds of 85 miles per hour.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies attempted to pull 47-year-old Louis Lopez-Rapalo over after observing him driving at a high rate of speed on State Route 414 in Seneca Falls. Lopez-Rapalo led police on the pursuit until he pulled into his residence and ran inside of his home in an attempt to hide from deputies.
Lopez-Rapalo was taken into custody a short time later without incident and was charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle along with several other traffic violations.
