A Seneca Falls man is facing felony charges after police say the car they observed him driving recklessly with was the same vehicle reported stolen from a local business.
Police say Steven Johnson continued to drive recklessly until the car lost a tire.
The 49-year-old was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and grand larceny, both felonies, as well as misdemeanor aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and several vehicle and traffic charges
Johnson was turned over to corrections staff to await Centralized Arraignment Proceedings.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
