Police arrested a Seneca Falls man after they claim he was in possession of a stolen dog.
The arrest of Paul Sturiale stems from the Seneca Falls Police Department assisting the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office with an investigation at a Seneca Falls home. While on scene, an officer spotted the Pitbull, which was involved in an active investigation with the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
The dog appeared in good condition and was not injured. The animal was turned over to the Beverly Animal Shelter.
Sturiale was charged with criminal possession of stolen property.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
