A Seneca Falls man was arrested on a charge of obstruction of governmental administration during a traffic stop in the town of Seneca Falls.
According to Seneca Falls Police, the arrest of Nikita Pierre stems from a traffic stop where the 34-year-old allegedly failed to comply with lawful orders to exit his car. A further investigation found Pierre was driving with a suspended license.
Pierre was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. She will answer the charges in Seneca Falls Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
