The investigation into multiple larcenies that occurred at Walmart in Seneca Falls in January resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old Seneca Falls man on Sunday.
Chandler Marl was allegedly observed by an employee of the store pushing a shopping cart filled with merchandise and passing all points of payment without paying for any of the goods. Marl is accused of abandoning the cart when he was approached by employees. Later that same day, Marl is accused of returning to the store, selecting the same merchandise and removing their security features. Upon being recognized by employees, Marl again abandoned his cart.
Marl was charged with two counts of petit larceny and was released on an appearance ticket for Seneca Falls Town Court.
