On Saturday, November 17th, 2024, at approximately 6:43 PM, the Seneca County 911 Center received a call reporting a fire at a residence on Clinton Street in the town of Seneca Falls. The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department, along with the Seneca Falls Fire Department, Waterloo Fire Department, Geneva Fire Department, and North Seneca Ambulance, quickly responded to the scene.
First responders arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the rear porch and exterior wall of the home. Thankfully, the residence was vacant at the time of the blaze. Firefighters worked swiftly to extinguish the fire, and we are pleased to report that there were no injuries among residents or responders.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, but at this time, there is no indication of foul play.
