Seneca Falls Arrested for Unlawful Imprisonment

On Saturday, June 15th, 2024, at 2:49 PM, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Onie Schumacher, age 34, of Seneca Falls, NY after an incident on the early morning of June 9th. Schumacher entered the victim’s residence without permission from the homeowner and restrained the victim, who was less than 18 years old. Schumacher then proceeded to continue to prevent the victim from getting away as she took the victim out of the residence. Schumacher was charged with one count of Unlawful Imprisonment in the second degree, a class A Misdemeanor, one count of Criminal Trespass in the second degree, a class A Misdemeanor, and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A Misdemeanor. Schumacher was processed at the Seneca Falls Police Department and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. An Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
