A Junius man was arrested by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office on petit larceny charges.
The arrest of Steven Foulkrod stems from an incident where it is alleged he entered a convenience store in the town of Tyre and stole merchandise that was for sale. The 33-year-old Foulkrod was observed on security footage placing the merchandise into his pockets and then proceeding past all points of sale without making any attempts at rendering payment.
Foulkrod was released on an appearance ticket for Tyre Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
