The investigation into drug sales in the city of Ithaca resulted in the arrest of an Ithaca man on Thursday.
As police were executing a search warrant in the 100 block of Cherry Street, Jermaine Hutto was found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine and fentanyl. Investigators say the amount of drugs, cash and digital scales found on Hutto, or inside his home, are consistent with the sale of narcotics.
Hutto was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and was sent to Tompkins County Jail following his arraignment.
