A traffic stop conducted by the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office on County Road 14 in the town of Cayuta resulted in the arrest of a Horseheads woman.
With the help of K9 Deputy Digit, Ashley Relyea was charged with criminally using drug paraphernalia and three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Relyea was also ticketed for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Relyea was released on appearance tickets for Cayuta Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
