A Wayne County man was arrested Wednesday following an investigation into a motor vehicle crash that happened last month.
The investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office showed Evan Morrin, of Savannah, was allegedly under the influence at the time of the February 18th crash on State Route 31 in the town of Galen.
Morrin was arrested Wednesday and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Unsafe Lane change. He was processed at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and released on an appearance ticket for Galen Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
