The Seneca Falls Police Department reports that a Savannah man was arrested late Tuesday night on a bench warrant.
Police say 45-year-old Shawn P. Davis was taken into custody after officers located him in the Town of Seneca Falls. Authorities say the warrant was issued after Davis failed to appear in court on a previous charge of petit larceny.
Davis was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he is being held pending arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
