A traffic stop in Yates County on Wednesday resulted in the arrest of a Rushville man on a felony charge.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, the criminal mischief charge against 31-year-old Tyler Mansfield stems from an alleged domestic incident that happened Tuesday night on Rubin Drive in the village of Rushville.
Following his arrest, Mansfield was brought to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
