The investigation into a one-car crash that happened on July 4th in Wayne County resulted in the arrest of a Town of Rose man on Sunday.
Seth Marsteiner was involved in a one-car crash that happened on Brick School House Road in Rose. It is alleged he was found near the scene of the crash where his car was located off the road in the woodline having sustained heavy damage. Marsteiner was injured as a result of the accident and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for his injuries.
Blood was taken from Marsteiner at the hospital and sent for analysis. Upon receipt of results, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports it was found Marsteiner had a blood alcohol content of 0.19% at the time of the crash.
Marsteiner was charged with DWI, Possession/Consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol under the age of 21, leaving the scene of a personal injury crash, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, and aggravated DWI.
Marsteiner will appear in Rose Town Court at a later date.
