The investigation into a shoplifting complaint at Walmart in Seneca Falls led to the arrest of two Romulus residents.
It was discovered that both 37-year-old Krystin Carter and 28-year-old Edward Carter allegedly failed to pay for all of the merchandise in their possession at the self-checkout. They then proceeded to pass all points of sale without rendering payment for the merchandise they had.
Both were released on appearance tickets for Seneca Falls Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
