A Romulus man who police say fled the scene of a rollover accident had to be taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for serious injuries.
According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Scott Jackson was driving under the influence of alcohol when he lost control of his truck while on State Route 96 in the town of Romulus. After Jackson’s truck went off the road, it struck a drainage ditch before rolling over multiple times. After fleeing the scene, Jackson was apprehended a short time later and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office was helped on scene by the Romulus Volunteer Fire Department and South Seneca Ambulance.
