The investigation into a domestic disturbance on Saturday resulted in the arrest of a Romulus man.
According to Seneca Falls Police, Calib Burroughs allegedly punched a hole in the door inside the residence during the dispute while in the presence of two children. It is also alleged that Burroughs attempted to prevent the victim from calling 9-1-1 for help by throwing her phone out of her hand.
While being processed at the police department, Burroughs allegedly refused to be fingerprinted.
Burroughs was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare and two counts of criminal mischief, along with a single count of obstruction of governmental administration.
An Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
