A Rochester woman has been charged after a shoplifting incident at Eastview Mall in Victor.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, 71-year-old Judith Muriello was taken into custody on August 29 after allegedly passing all points of sale at Von Maur without paying for $188.95 worth of merchandise.
Muriello was charged with petit larceny and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
