A Rochester woman was arrested Wednesday on an Ontario County warrant.
La’Tanetta Williams was transferred over to the Ontario County Jail from Chemung County Jail. Upon entering the county, it was discovered that Williams had an arrest warrant issued on June 11th out of Victor Town Court. The warrant is the result of an investigation into an alleged Grand Larceny offense that occurred on January 22nd from Ulta Cosmetics.
Williams was taken into custody without incident and was then transferred to the custody of Ontario County Jail where she will be arraigned and answer for her charges
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
