A Rochester woman was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office on a bench warrant issued out of Ontario Town Court.
The initial charges against Sequita Wright stem from a traffic stop that occurred in the town of Ontario on November 22, 2022. It is alleged that Wright failed to obey lawful commands during a traffic stop investigation and was charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. A bench warrant was issued in September of 2023 after Wright failed to appear in court.
Wright will appear in Ontario Town Court at a later date.
