A Rochester woman was arrested on Christmas Day on a warrant out of Hopewell Town Court.
Ronica Fantigrossi was initially arrested for an incident in which she allegedly stole merchandise from the Lowes store in Hopewell. Fantigrossi was placed into custody during a traffic stop investigation by Bath Police. The 29-year-old was then transferred to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office in the village of Naples.
Fantigrossi was brought to the Ontario County Jail where she remained in custody on pre-arraignment detention and will appear in CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
