Rochester Woman Arrested on Hopewell Bench Warrant

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Rochester woman on an active bench warrant.

The warrant for Khyana Brown’s arrest was issued out of Hopewell Town Court after she allegedly failed to appear on a petit larceny charge. Brown was turned over by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office following an incident in that county.

Brown was transported to the Ontario County Jail where she is being held, pending arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
