A Rochester woman wanted on an active warrant out of Canandaigua Town Court was taken into custody over the weekend by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office had taken Laquanda Harrington into custody and turned her over to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office after learning she had an active warrant for a grand larceny charge.
Harrington was brought to the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
