The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Rochester woman on an outstanding bench warrant.
Monday night, deputies from the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Monroe County Jail in Rochester to take custody of Tanya Ells. The 41-year-old is accused of failing to appear in Canandaigua Town Court to answer the charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
Ells was brought to the Ontario County Jail where she was held for CAP arraignment on Tuesday.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
