Rochester Woman Arrested for DWI in Penn Yan

A Rochester woman was arrested by Penn Yan Police following a traffic stop on Lake Street in the village.

Cindy Rosato was stopped after police observed her car failing to keep right and crossing over the solid center line on Lake Street multiple times. Rosato was placed through standardized field sobriety tests, which she failed.

Rosato was placed under arrest for DWI and consented to a voluntary blood draw to determine her blood alcohol level.

Rosato was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated and failing to keep right. Further charges are pending laboratory results.
